The YA Internship at Sanctuary Church offers a short term, immersive, and hands-on experience for individuals eager to make a tangible impact within the local church in a variety of tracks. Tailored specifically for those who are exploring opportunities to serve the local church, or for those who are eagerly looking to be exposed and grow in a specific area of ministry, this flexible program focuses on equipping participants with tangible leadership skills that are applicable within any work/ministry context. This program emphasizes flexible, hands-on engagement, while building leadership capacity in a supportive local church context.

MONDAY:

The Sanctuary Internship Program blends practical ministry experience, personal development, and team collaboration. Interns will be involved in some daily church operations, while working alongside pastors and leaders in their respective tracks. Interns can expect to be poured into by staff, equipped, and stretched in their personal area of interest, at times taking ownership in group ministry initiatives.

  • Fall & Spring Internship Periods

  • 3-6 month commitment

  • Participants are expected to allocate 8-10 hours a week towards their internship

  • This internship is not paid. However, we strive to provide an enriching experience to our interns, through valuable investment from leaders and unique experiences.

  • No! This internship is for anyone who is looking to get focused, hands-on experience, and personal investment. Our prayer is that you complete this internship feeling equipped and encouraged to take the skills you learn into whatever field the Lord leads you in.
